Saturday, August 24th, the Pillars of Lakewood will continue a local tradition when they present the 8th annual Lakewood Wing Crawl. This year, 13 local area bars will compete to see who has the “Best Wings In Lakewood”. As they did last year, the Pillars worked with KTC Digital to set up a landing page for this year’s wing crawl. You can see the page at http://www.lakewoodwingcrawl.com/.
This single landing page includes information on purchasing wing crawl passes, participating establishments, event sponsors and celebrity judges. Payment is handled through a PayPal shopping cart system and all the site links to all participant’s Facebook pages.
Participating locations for the 2013 Wing Crawl include: Around The Corner, The Avenue, Booths Tavern, Deagan’s Kitchen & Bar, Jammy Buggars, Harry Buffalo, Eddy & Iggy’s, Merry Arts, Plank Road Tavern, Quaker Steak & Lube, Riverwood Cafe, Vosh Lakewood and Cerino’s. Pillars uses Facebook extensively both for their promotion of the crawl as well as during the event itself for live feedback, crowd control and voting.
This year’s event, which is once again sponsored by Yuengling, will be judged by a panel of local celebrity judges including Mike Polk Jr, Greg Brinda from WKNR, Gloria Milner from the Plain Dealer and many others.
Wing crawl passes are on sale now and Pillars of Lakewood members have an opportunity at discounted passes and wing crawl t-shirts. Get your passes now and enjoy the wings in August. Tell em KTC Digital sent you!
