The Pillars Of Lakewood has been hosting a local wing crawl in Lakewood, Ohio for the past 7 years. This Saturday, August 18th, 11 local area bars will compete to see who has the “Best Wings In Lakewood”. The Pillars – http://www.pillarsoflakewood.org – worked with KTC Digital to set up a landing page for this year’s wing crawl which is located at http://www.lakewoodwingcrawl.com/. This single page includes all the information that a wing crawler would need including ticket purchasing information (via a PayPal shopping cart), a list of participating establishments, events sponsors and judges.
Participating locations for the 2012 Wing Crawl include: Around The Corner, The Avenue, Booths Tavern, Deagan’s Kitchen & Bar, Jammy Buggars, Harry Buffalo, The Local, Merry Arts, Plank Road Tavern, Eddy & Iggy’s and Riverwood Cafe. The landing page has links to the Facebook pages for all the participants. Pillars utilizes Facebook extensively both for their promotion of the crawl as well as during the event itself.
This year’s event, which is sponsored by Yuengling, Buckeye Vodka and ESPN Cleveland, will be judged by a panel of local celebrity judges including Mark “Munch” Bishop from WKNR, Eric Sandy from the Sun News, Chad Zumock from WMMS and many others.
The pre-sale period for the wing crawl has passed, but if you’re in Northeast Ohio on Saturday afternoon and you’re a wing eater you should definitely stop by! Tell em KTC Digital sent you!
