KTC Digital is proud to announce the launch of a new website for our client the Eerie Film Festival – eeriehorrorfilmfestival.com. The launch of the site is in preparation for the next festival to take October 17-19, 2014 at the prestigious Warner Theater in Erie, Pennsylvania.
The festival was established in order to provide more opportunities and exposure for filmmakers and screenwriters working within the horror, science fiction and suspense genres, as well as to draw more attention to the Northwestern Pennsylvania region.
Since its debut in October of 2004, the Eerie Horror Film Festival has quickly become one of the most popular and respected events of its kind in the world and has shown over 400 films including several world premieres and movies that eventually secured distribution deals with major companies.
The Eerie Horror Film Festival came to KTC Digital with a website that hadn’t been updated in quite some time and with a quick deadline for completion. KTC Digital built this new site on the WordPress content management system which allows Festival staff to add content to the site with little or no programming knowledge. Additionally, the site is now search engine friendly.
