Manta LogoKTC Digital is a proud member of Manta which is an organization that helps small businesses profit, connect and grow!  In addition to having a ton of great information on their website to help businesses be more successful, they offer a “Tip Of The Day” newsletter which provides some incredible nuggets.  Today’s tip was so profound that I felt compelled to share it:

Deliver on Your Commitments

When working with your customers, whether new or returning, be sure that when you make commitments you can deliver on them. There is no faster way to lose customers than making promises that you cannot keep. This is true whether you are quoting a price on a project, offering to have a product delivered on a certain day or stating project specifications. Say what you are going to do and do what you say.

And while this seems like second nature to many of us, I can show you time after time where companies simply do NOT do this.  You’d think every company in today’s economy where there’s a ton of uncertainty would do this… but you’d be wrong.  As the tip says, whether it’s proper quoting of a project, responding promptly to an email, paying a debt on time or managing your business in a responsible manner these are things that are game changers.

I’m here to tell you that at KTC Digital we do what we say we’re going to do.  We get the job done.  We’re up front and honest.  We don’t go after work that we can’t handle, and we stick to our core of what we know how to do.  There are quite a few “web development” or “SEO” shops out there that will grab work just cause it’s a paycheck.  And then they’ll learn on YOUR DIME.  There are a ton of firms out there that call themselves “IT Consulting” or “IT Managed Services” firms that will try to sell you on their web design services.  Don’t fall into that trap.  While we’d love to have your business, if it’s not a fit for us we won’t take it.  But what we WILL do is point you in the right direction.  That’s the way WE do business.  You know… with integrity.
