KTC Digital is happy to announce the completion of another great project for an outstanding client Redeemer Fellowship! http://www.redeemerkansascity.org/ Redeemer Fellowship is an inter-denominational church in midtown Kansas City with a commitment to worship and community development.
Redeemer came to KTC Digital with beautiful website that needed some tender loving care from a SEO (search engine optimization) perspective. We performed a SEO audit on the site and provided a list of action items. These action items had one goal in mind – to make sure that Redeemer Fellowship was visible to search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.) and ensured that Redeemer, NOT the search engines themselves, determined how their content was being displayed.
KTC Digital created custom title tags and descriptions for every page and blog post on the site. We created and implemented a Google XML Sitemap (which allows Google and other engines to quickly review all of the content available on the Redeemer site). These activities are crucial for proper search engine optimization and allows for additional exposure for Redeemer Fellowship.
Google has something called “Rich Snippets” which are displayed in some searches. These snippets will show additional content from within the site. Remember, Google is always trying to show you what they THINK you want to see. However, from time to time, they get it wrong and index a page (or group of pages) that you don’t want to display. This can happen for a variety of reasons including passage of time. Fellowship found itself in this particular situation and turned to KTC Digital to remedy the situation… which we did.
